I hate to be the pessimist but things will get worse. For every driver complaining here , there are a hundred willing to take it up the rear and drive. Look at the crowd at dca lot and compare them to the "first year" uber drivers. This is what uber essentially wants, they will find a way to cram pool down drivers throats whether it's through incentives or suspensions but they will find a way, they always have

The fact that UberStool as a service hasn't been discontinued yet lends some credence that there are still ample Stool Pidgeons out there running the Stools - even without incentives, at base rates!!

It's possible passengers thought they bought a bargain, turns out they are frustrated because no one will pick them up. Enough email complaints to support and the $30 pass was quickly discontinued.

Uber could've done a certain number of Pool Passes as a test, seeing what demand was. The 'sold out until September' bullshit is just to whet the appetite of Pool users.

We did same shit in nightclub business. Have a line, make it look busier than it was.

I doubt Pool Pass is going away sadly.

Over 15,000 DC Metro drivers accept pool requests. Just you 6 Trolls don't. nutzareus, ask your Husband, 2 kids and dog. They prefer Uber Pool since Mom nutzareus uber driving provide little.
