OK, I m well aware that calling the Uber provided help number will only get you so far in resolving driver issues. I have found the Uber employees taking the calls to be very polite and able to resolve small issues fairly well but if a driver like myself is in need of being compensated for a very long 379 mile round trip that occurred over 10 days ago, they are ill-equipped to rectify this issue. I have been told the this fair is "in review" and that I will be paid within 24 - 48 hours. I have been told this on four separate occasions, AND STILL - NOTHING. I just want to be compensated for the 7+ hour round trip as promised. Any suggestions? Another course of action?

Likely the customer disputed the charge or they didn't have enough on the card and you extended the trip. Why with a long one way, turned into round trip, you need to have them change it, or re-up (while in the car) so Uber can place a new hold on the card.

Was it for the customer you took or someone else? Possible the phone was stolen.

Uber should add an easy Make This A Round Trip button for customers and inform the driver so they can deny it if they are going one way.

I appreciate your input. It was a round trip from the beginning. Even if there was an issue on the customer side financially, my agreement is with uber and they should pay their end period.

The best thing you can do is sue them in small claims court.

Hit them up on Twitter, FB, and Instagram as they hate that, and in most cases driver's who do, get their issue resolved much faster. Do Twitter first.

Unless you opted out of arbitration, you cannot sue them in small claims.

I would never take a 379 mile round trip in my market anyways, as there is too much risk of not getting paid due to fraudulent claims, bad C/C authorizations, etc. Pay me in cash upfront, then we can talk.

IMHO absolutely no one unless they are using a stolen C/C or they plan on scamming you, needs to get somewhere that bad, and at that price, to pay what 5X what a bus ride would cost.

I had to wait something like 2 weeks to get paid for a trip that was under a fare review. Eventually I did get the money. You might want to write them and point out that you are well outside of the 2 to 3 day waiting period for fare reviews. Maybe also call them and ask for a supervisor, or go to the nearest hub to talk to someone in person. Fare reviews suck! Hopefully you will get the money soon.

I'd hit them up on twitter/Facebook as well. They really hate the bad PR as it could cost them more than actually paying you would.

@ObeyTheNumbers 100% not calling you out, just using your statement as an example of something that is a problem with making changes...
Not too long ago I responded to another post where the pax wasn't allowed to change the trip and since my driver app several times now wouldn't allow me to change any trips, I gave up on me trying to change them on the driver side..

So I was asking the question, if a rider (and driver) can't change the trip due to app errors or whatever CC BS was going on, should one help out the pax or be the driver-hole and say "you have received the service you requested, have a nice day."
Guaranteeing you a 1 star rating?

What's the best choice?
below should take you to my post, there is a lot of long back and forth going on so if willing to read it, just start at my name.

Its intended to be a wwyd scenario, not a how to fix it... Thoughts are appreciated!

If the customer doesn't change it don't change it for them unless it's on the customers phone.

Even if you can theoretically change it on the driver app don't.

I assume you are replying to me, sorry if that assumption is wrong.

Can i get you to tell that to heisenberg? (I finally blocked them, lol)

I agree with you, but in the case study I mentioned that does guarantee you a 1star.
Unless one is willing to take them the rest of the way for free, or just hope Uber is going to pay you correctly... And Which hope is lost in the uber world.
