I guess Uber isn't in St Charles because I just sat out at the Stevie Nicks concert and after 20 minutes my connection to the app failed and I had to restart my phone! Super bummed. Guess it's just the airport during the week from now on lol

Actually uber has been in STC since April. I think Uber once again is having issue the last couple of days. I had an issue last night cashed out earnings and later I checked my bank and the money wasn't there. Normally no issues instant deposit. I checked the Ap. and it said it failed. Contacted Uber and they tried to blame it on the bank. But I was on another forum and many people were having issues on September 13 and 14.

Cell service near the Family Arena is not the best. Plus it could have been an cell system overload too. I saw that happen at the first Amphitheater concert this year.
St Charles does have a growing Uber usage. Mostly just random riders going to/from work, or at Bar closing time...

Uber and Lyft have been statewide since August 28th. I've taken pings in Rolla and logged in in Kirksville and everywhere I've been in the state. App problems are just app problems.

Verizon reception is not good at the amphitheatre, so I assume it would have conectivitiy problems at the Family Arena also.

Cindym posted a screenshot of the st charles area, and it had red shaded areas on it, I just assumed that was the rate of pings for that area? I could be way off base

It was a screenshot from my phone. You can upload them from your phone's Gallery, like any other picture. If you aren't posting from your phone, you might have to save them to your PC first, to upload from there. The easiest way for me is to e-mail it to myself, then save from the email to my PC. It's easier than it sounds. If that was clear as mud, inbox me for more complete details.

A surge area, got it. Is that an option yo have to turn on within the app or is that automatic during a surge. Also for the life of me I can't get it to show the queue for lambert even if i hit the airplane icon.

It's automatic, you just have to zoom into the correct part of the map.

Thanks you guys! Appreciate the help! I have so far been staying on my side of the river (IL) and have been lucky I guess. Got a pickup from Cahokia to Edwardsville earlier, then on my way back to Belleville, got a pickup from Edwardsville to Swansea, so it worked out well for me. I was trying to get downtown to test the waters this morning, since I have yet to try it, but this worked out better as I only planned on staying down there until noonish anyways. Pretty decent for 2.5 hours of work.
