I got a massage from uber that my account is on hold because someone reported me as drunk driver . I have been working for Uber since 2015 . I contacted uber about the issue . They emailed me, saying they are doing an investigation ,and I cannot drive until the investigation is completed . I did only 11 trips this weekend because I am full time student, and I HAVE NEVER TRIED ALCOHOL IN MY LIFE . I am wondering why someone make a false claim .

Free ride maybe. Pick up any drunk passengers? Maybe the smell lingered.

YOU BE SCREWED! Uber will not look into it but they might let you sit there for awhile. They may or may not reactivate you and they may require you to take a class. In any case, you got SCREWED by a pax and there is no refuting the lies they tell.

I hear about this a lot lately. I guess it's a way pax are getting out of paying for rides now. That's what you get when you go after people who have no money or class. And since we don't have a respectable image anymore, because Uber destroyed it, now we're also seen as weak targets for criminals. All thanks to the greed of this rideshare scam.
UBER HAS REACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT TODAY . I ask them I want to know what kind of information you have received about me . It is my car smell , my driving ,etc . They refuse to give any information ,and they said we can not share confidential information with you. Basically , THEY EVEN DID NOT BOTHER TO ASK ME ANY QUESTION ABOUT THE FALSE CALIME .

Welcome to Uber. This is nothing new. It happens everyday. I am glad to hear you got it resolved but you might want to get a 360 degree dash cam or at least one that records you and the pax.

If you think you can't afford one you can. It may not be that great, but is better than nothing. I am seeing them for $20.00 or less. And I know they aren't the BEST I just wanted people to know they have an option.

But all jokes aside, this is a regular occurrence. Some pax do it to get revenge or score a free ride. You should be back online in 24 hrs in most cases.

Hell, I started to pull out from a side street into Sheppard thinking it was one-way in the other direction. The pax yelled, STOP as I looked the other way and was about to be broadsided! No repercussion, but that's just lucky! He really could have ended my driving day, week, month! The rider rules and if you don't suck up to them you will lose every time.

Yep finally got one. Gettin tired of drunk a$$ men who didn't find their lay for the night thinking this Uber driver likes my legs touched while I'm driving...WTF!!!
Another felt the need to touch my hair errr these damn a$$holes!!

I've got the camera now. It's not the greatest but tapes both inside and out. I know it's just a matter of time b4 IT happens again. I've had 5 incidents w leg rubbing, 1 touching & rubbing my hair, one wanting to "make out" and too many to count requesting to "come in" I'm 50 yrs old and ITs getting old... I will be reporting w proof now. It's getting ridiculous and regardless to how well you prepare mentally it still puts you in a state of shock when it occurs and I do my best at de escalating the situation. I get a 1 Star each time and the last guy even yelled after he got out that he was 1 starring me!
The worst part is I'm flipping driving while IT occurs!
