I'm just gonna put this out there as to how Uber drivers are treated. Some nozzle actually stole my cane. Can you believe that? I bet you can.

I snug my cane between the passenger seat and the center console. If pax sit in front seat I apologize for the cane, tell them I'm disabled and point to the disability placard hanging from the rearview mirror. I tell them I'm just trying to make a few extra $$$ for my family. So far no one has tried to steal it but I'm sure I have received a few sympathy tips!

My pax have been pretty honest and never stolen anything from me. A few times I had things in the trunk that they could have stolen like a laptop. I probably realized it after doing 5 rides, or something and the trunk wasn't open for some of those rides. I was kind of surprised it was still there.

I should have a cane with me all the time but I don’t.

frankly Thou if I have a problem with my prosthetic the only thing that will even remotely help is a pair of crutches.

no Way will I get those into a Camry but I should really have a pair if I’m in a Ford transit van or ford expedition

Reminds me, I stopped giving away the freebies (cold water, candy, chargers etc) when some pax holes STOLE the entire bag of candy and stole a hat I had in the back window.

Its a much longer story, but they got the cops called on them, and the cops brought me $20!
