So I get a trip today. 2 women, 2 men and 2 dogs with bags. And they ordered uber x. If I still drove a regular car on x only there is no way everyone and eveything would have fit. Luckily my Pilot has space and we all just barely fit after I pulled down the last row of seats. And get this. The trip was 29 miles and took 70 minutes. After the trip ends I tell Uber to change the trip to xl which they do. The fare jumped from 93 dollars to 147 dollars so it was not all bad. Was I wrong for doing that? Should animals count as passengers even if they can sit on the lap of a person?

Wow, Wardell. Heck of a trip. I don't think it's wrong. Airlines would charge more plus ya had extra clean up.

I had passengers laughing, as they had breakfast, about how they were getting crumbs all over. Was not bad and just took some wiping with my hand to clean up. But would have loved to hit em harder on price for the laughing and being so unaware some one, in there also personal car, would have to clean up for them.

Also I must stress please do the math yourself whenever there is a fare adjustment. The customer reps' own incompetence will cost you money. The Xl rate in my market is basically x with 1.5 surge. However the new fare they originally gave me was only $117 from $94. A monkey would be able to tell something was wrong right away. So I basically emailed their support with the math done using parenthesis and order of operations. And they finally corrrected the mistake with a nice thank you for my deligence. I am doing their jobs for them and mine. Smh.

That's what dumbfounded me. Aside from most every day events. They were talking about this out loud and completely unaware that I, the driver and owner of this very clean and really cool Prius (Yes, prius-es can be cool!) was sitting less than 2 feet from them, in an enclosed space, could hear them!?

And I had just given them VD left over chocolate kisses. I dunno. People are nutz and we are just some of them. (ithink)

Not for nothing, Wardell. $147 for an hr +10 is a good ride an' score. Good job! And catching it was not a regular X fare.
