seems like first wave will be people who have their bank account on file with IRS from 2019 or 2018 taxes. Then second wave gets checks mailed....arrives in August for some....

Well, we were 'assured' by the Treasury head that a portal will be available very soon for all of us without the direct deposit connected to the IRS to enable the direct deposit via the portal.

A reporter asked Mnuchin that very issue and he tersely responded with ‘I don’t where you’re getting that’ but it will not be that long for anybody, he flatly said. Whether he’s right, we’ll see, but he unambiguously said that. Yes, I can see people opining that he only said that to prevent panic and ‘anarchy’.
