Received a ride request from Shannon. The woman who entered my vehicle was Karen. Shannon ordered the ride for me. Second request comes in from Karen about four blocks away. Ignore that, says Karen, Shannon probably made a mistake. I pull over anyway, no one shows up so I cancel and take Karen to her destination about six blocks away. A ride request comes in from Karen in the same neighborhood as the second request referred to above. I drive to the pickup point and a guy gets in the car. Who ordered this fare I ask. Karen, he replies. Do you know Shannon, I ask. Never heard of her. OK, then. ; p
