If I ask you for water and mints when I'm using uber and you provide I will rate you 1*. I will tell my friens to do the same. So please do yourself a fevour when you use uber. #nomints#nowater spread the word.
Isn't there a statute of limitations for threads created "or" discussed on water and mints??

On Sunday afternoon, 3 Lebanese entitleds from outta town went to Epping on 1.6x, from oaks, 1 at the back asked if I got any water, I said no if u need me to stop at gas station and buy water.

Then he asked, if I'm going to buy for him, cos last driver did, I said forget it, if you r really thirsty and stingy, I have some recycled water for my cars wiper cleaner tank, then he asked me that, don't I love my job hinting for 1*, quickly I checked 3rd party surge gauge that stated 2x on royal parade, I harsh braked and asked 3 of them to get out if not happy, same @$$#ole asked if its going to cost them, I said just cancel and you'll know, but one in the front extinguished the situation as they were running late already to attend a wedding, so took them, no more words being exchanged for 28 minutes, 1*ed him.

I actually do ask them,80% don't take it my cost is negleble cost me around $1-2 per day,tax deductible too.
On other note so funny when they been partying and first thing that they grab is water, comments are gold.
Or when they do walk of shame on Sat/Sun morning.
Only one thing that I hate is when they jump in car and first thing that they take is water without asking and waiting to be offered, or on the end of the trip when they take water home.
That kind of behaviour really sets me off and surly they get *1.

The water deal doesn't really worry me but one thing that really pisses me off is when they take a swig, put the cap back on and place it back in the door compartment for the next rider. Had a complaint from Uber recently about it. It does make you feel as though you "jam the water up your clacker" if that's the respect you show. I'll have that in my comments on the app for the next 450 rated rides.

Yeah hate that too.
If they take I always check did they take it with them,if not I kind of tell them to take it out.
Saves me stopping to disregard bottle.
I thought you that riders can't see comments or issues when they request ride.

I don't get the water and mints thing. I'm there to provide a service and that's get em from A to B. I'll provide a clean car inside and out I'll help lift bags in and out of the boot I promise no BO ( unlike most cabbies) and I'm neatly dressed (no thongs) I will even lend them a phone charger; but I wont be a canteen on wheels.

Let the water go, Rudi.
It is so 2016!
Why put yourself through that nonsense with wasted offerings?
I drink 600 ml bottles of slightly carbonated, chilled mineral water all day and there is always one in the cockpit (for me).
If anyone asks for water, I explain that there is a small charge ($1.50) and I am happy to get one from the esky in the boot for them.
However, I don't believe I have had a request for water in, perhaps, the last 1,000 trips.
If people don't see it, they don't want it.

There are paxs who genuinely don't like you providing water.
