While I’m waiting my turn to shower after the wife served me my favorite peach pie ?, I’ll share what happened .
Pick up a dude at casino on strip and he’s headed downtown to a Casino , after a minute he says how long till we get to ( named casino ) , I said looks like 4 minutes, then it dawned on me , this is not right , it will take at least 15 mins to get all the way downtown as I then am curious what’s up and stop at light on lvb.

I decide to look at address given and it names casino but then says unnamed road .

Well I know that casino is downtown so I look in mirror and say , you musta put wrong address, can you put in address correctly as if I drop you where it says you will be about 4 miles short of your destination, he says just take me to the casino!

Next light I explain that I need Him to change the address so that it takes us to that casino. He responds I don’t know how to do that and then shoves the phone in my face and tells me to do it.

I let him know that I do not know how to do that as I am just the driver and I do not have that app. I explained that many passengers are able to do it, and that all he hast to do is take a look at the phone and it will prompt him to change the destination.

He says he will and I continue to drive down the Boulevard towards downtown. We get to the next light and it’s right near the very tallest building we have that even has a roller coaster on top of it. As we are stopped at the light I again I ask again for him to change the address to the casino he wants me to go to and that’s when he says the magic word, You f ing change it and he then shoves it in my face again, at that point I tell him I’m pulling in to tallest casino in town and his ride is ending.

As we wait at the light he says I’m getting out here, I say , sir you cannot exit the car in the middle of traffic, and in that moment he exits and walks away.

Light turns green and I turn into tallest casino in town and end ride and 1 star him with explanation , he jumped out of car in middle of traffic.

2 hrs later after eating I turn lyft on and accounts on hold . That’s where it sits as I’m writing this. 4 emails from me have gone unanswered by lyft to this point. No , I will not show the video and audio, no I will not even show it to lyft. I’m stubborn and what them to conclude their “ investigation “ into this very serious matter . Even told them I have the video and still no response. Can’t wait till they respond . Should be interesting to see their conclusion .

And I will post my emails and their response. Everyone have a great day. I’m taking a couple days off?

It’s not hard to change it. I’ve changed it on their phone many times. Either have them do it or if they don’t know how or can’t then you borrow their phone and do it. Of course never do it on your own phone. You should have changed it. Since you have been doing this for so long you should know how to do it :p

It's not hard to change it. I've changed it on their phone many times. Either have them do it or if they don't know how or can't then you borrow their phone and do it. Of course never do it on your own phone. You should have changed it. Since you have been doing this for so long you should know how to do it :p

Curious how you have 1500 rides in 5 weeks. That's 300 rides per week. That's 43 rides per day, 7 days a week, with no days off...

Also , your hate is becoming easier to tolerate as it seems the insults are tame lately, a sign that the hate may soon turn to love❤Just my opinion , but really you should eat more peaches, they are delicious?

And good for you too, it eases the pain of loneliness and boredom of just palstic?

Well clearly it was an issue with this guy and you didn't solve. It's called bad customer service. You could have changed it. Takes 5 seconds. Now you are deactivated from Lyft.

Curious how you have 1500 rides in 5 weeks. That's 300 rides per week. That's 43 rides per day, 7 days a week, with no days off...
6 weeks full time, did it part time for about 8 months before. It's all in all my post, fact check it if ya like

Well clearly it was an issue with this guy and you didn't solve. It's called bad customer service. You could have changed it. Takes 5 seconds. Now you are deactivated from Lyft.
For now yes, in fairness , I don't really do many lyft anymore , maybe 10-15 a week as Uber never lets me turn them on a lot anyways , just one after another with Uber, what I find is with Uber, they more runs I do the more Uber feeds me to take. Actually prolly a good business plan by Uber ,

Think about it, if someone makes you 1k a week, wouldn't you keep feeding them? Also if you make them $100 a week why would they feed you ? Common sense actually , I'm convinced now , more you take the more they give. IMO ?

If Lyft won't respond to you, are you sure it was that ride? It could have been something else.

Lyft has done dropped you. And keep your doors locked and this won't happen. I had a pax jump out at Bellagio because we were stuck in traffic. I got wise after that. There are always cops around that area.

Yes , they sent an email saying I force the passenger out in an unsafe area( middle of street in traffic.

Yeah , so after 1500 rides I'm sure I would do that, never , I'm so cautious I make everyone exit care to right , always, I'm a worry wart for safety, always have been

Thing is, I even told lyft I have the entire ride on video and they still have not responded, they will not get the tape unless the permanently disable my account, at that point I'll file in small claims court and the can view the tape as part of discovery

Some pax are just A Holes. I think that's part of the reason you get so much grief on here. I know you're having fun and making money, but one pax reporting you for racial profiling or not taking a service animal and it all ends. Even if the report is false. Some on here have seen pay go down a lot over the last few years and have had to deal with more pax crap than would seem possible. Some of the negative people on here were at one time like you. And some are just grumpy old farts. ?

I stopped taking Lyft rides along time ago. Uber is a PITA, but at least there's a base level of professionalism. Lyft is a joke of a company. Their customer service staff treats passengers like gold, but service for drivers?! A line from "Clerks" comes to mind: "This job would be great if it weren't for the f***cking customers". That's the attitude I get from everyone at Lyft every time I've dealt with them, in office or on the phone. Screw Lyft.

Next time just change the address yourself on the driver app. Tap destination and you could make the change. Uber did allow this also but I believe they changed it to pax only. If you have to change on uber just hit edit ride and proceed from there.

I’ve been able to change the destination for the pax in both the Uber and Lyft app. I’ve also had pax put in wrong destination and I’ve just driven them to the destination they wanted without changing the destination in the app. You still get paid for the miles driven to the destination where you actually end the ride.

You have a high pride. Maybe its just me.. if i were you id go to Lyft office bring the video recording. Which it will instantly solve the problem and get you reactivated.

Why was it so important to change it, why didn't you just take him where he wanted to go. Everyone I know including myself would of jump on the freeway and took him downtown but I've only done 8000 plus rides .. just asking for a friend!

What are your ratings for each? I’m at a 5.0 for Lyft after almost 800 rides and 4.97 on Uber after almost 2300 rides. Making money is good but so is customer service. Need to keep pax happy they kind of control our fate. They can lie and we can get in trouble.
