Sometimes I see surge in weird places at odd times and wonder if I should turn on the news.
So dead out there!
I don't know if Im just being totally unlucky but all of my sessions this week but one has been really slow. Hope to get in thirty hours this weekend but if slow will be tough.

My t-mobile service was extremely finicky yesterday. May have seen some weird surges due to limited outages yesterday?
The surge was mocking me this morning. When I was South it was North, than I was North and it was South. When I was in the eye of the surge it never pinged. Oh well got 6 hours in for 133, a very rare 100+ week day for me.
I got a late start, but with a fare from a few blocks from my home in G-town to SLU. Then a ride from SLU to Renton. From there, local runs that got me back downtown just as surge ended. It was about $56 for 45 miles and 3 hours. I am getting sick of this shit. Third day in a row without catching any surge. I know I should wait for surge, but if I do, most days, I'll be sitting there making no money and end up with minimum wage. I'm gonna have to go back to late nights on weekends. Dammit, but the morning shift was great while it lasted.
I also did good. 6 rides 3.5 hrs $122. Last ride ended at airport at 9a. Saw all the backups on routes back DT so quit while ahead and came home. got some house chores done. Now cracking the Cadadores and waiting for the Truck race. Tonight they run on the half mile dirt track.Very productive day all around.The surge was mocking me this morning. Yeah, it's turned to shit. For a while, I was hooking surge rides to the airport between 0330 and 0500. I was putting on a bunch of miles and making a bunch of money, but lately early surge has largely died, and when it appears, the riders aren't paying it.Sorry Greguzzi that u are running bad. I missed the party to the 330 - 5 surge, that would be sick. This morning was really good for me. Was getting so lucky on long runs without dead heads back. Got off at MLK twice coming back from the airport and caught rides back to North Seattle both times. I got one surge at 1.5 from Bellevue to Lake City and than one of the craziest stories Ive heard from a PAX.Yeah, it's turned to shit. For a while, I was hooking surge rides to the airport between 0330 and 0500. I was putting on a bunch of miles and making a bunch of money, but lately early surge has largely died, and when it appears, the riders aren't paying it.
He was exercising in a gym and a guy broke into his locker and jacked his wallet and keys, AND than his car! Guess the dude had decent size cash and a total pimped out tablet system that is now bye-bye for good. It is open war on cars in Seattle.
4 - 10 $175 with $10 in tolls, but got stuck in a few traffic jams from hell and really ran perfect and not getting much better for me unless it was hella surging.

Hope u went out this morning was surge central. I got sent from Montlake Terrace to Tacoma and at 5:15 it was 5.7 surge in Tacoma! The only pings I got were twenty minutes away at no surge, lol. I turned the app off and it wouldnt let me back in until I got way past the airport. Got back to Seattle and did a ton of 2.5 CH and QA to DT. If I can have a 400 weekend I will have a record Uber week. May try to get four hours in tonight and then go for the 400 - 500 this weekend, crossing fingers I can pull it off as I was broke early this week as been trying to kill a personal debt, and feels nice to have a little more than usual coming in.Nice work. I did OK. I was out for about 4 hours and netted about $120 (before expenses). I'm at about $520 for the week. I'll add in tomorrow and Sunday mornings and see where I'm at. I'm shooting for $750. Dead out there tonight too, even around Block Party. I sat curbside right outside Elysian from 9:00-9:30 without a single ping. I had one fare over $10 tonight and that a short ride on a 3.1x closing surge from Ballard to Magnolia. What the hell? Were people partied out from today, turned off by the morning's rain, or saving their stamina for tomorrow?
I've been assuming that all the promos they've been running to get new drivers have borne fruit and we're oversaturated with them from all the fools trying to win a car/ double their earnings for a week by getting their friends and family driving.
One peek at waze and seeing no surge on the hill , it didn't look good. Also figured traffic would kill earning potential.

I had a decent day considering i only put in 6 hours between noon and 6. Got a $33 ride right from my house in auburn that took me to puyallup and then tacoma. Accepted a ride from spanaway back to centurylink field. Tacoma rates are very low. Im not complaining very much as I did get a fare back into seattle....BUT....it was 55 miles and 64 minutes. I was quite shocked to see it was only $42. Okay, 42 an hour nothing to sneeze at. But compared to king county rates i was hoping for closer to 60. Peirce County is 1 per mile and 12 cents per minute. So after ubers 20% fee....looking at 80 cents per mile and 10 cents per minute.......not sure why tacoma is so low.
Ended up a record week for me. So happy as can make a double debt payment and knock that puppy out shorty as its been dragging me down.
That is ****ed up per mile in Pierce County, anything under 1.35 is weak, should 1.50 plus tip button. But then would the ecosystem self-destruct with a zillion drivers? I dont know, just want to be busy as the Fubering feels so less painful when always pinging and surge action coming in play.
