I have been getting rides immediately upon entering the airport today, even when the queue is over 60. All the rides have been to Center City.
I actually don't mind this. Would rather get a short ride without waiting if that means I get a long ride after waiting. Did 6 airport pickups today, all to Center City.

Seriously. I dropped off twice and waited for my ride out. Not long, but was def in q both times. Both rides to CC. (Of course)

For 2 weeks Uber is testing it.....if you enter the que the short rides go to the drivers that just entered while the the drivers that live down there have a chance of getting a longer ride....since ive been dropping off there....works for me....no waiting in que....drop off pick up right away.....gotta keep the hustle going.

Did 2 more airport pickups since. Got one immediate ride to Center City. The next pickup, I ignored an immediate pool, then I had to wait in the queue and got a ride to Jersey.
I like this. It's a solution to the cherry picking

Didn't work that way for me. Dropped in on Monday, got in queue for 31-40 cars. Decided to wait. Waited 40 minutes, got trip to Wilmington.

Sounds like people assuming by their experiences, than uber actually testing things out

Was driving last night. Had 1 drop at airport and before I even dropped him off I had a ride added to be picked up in Term B. While driving pax to CC I got texts from Uber about no waiting at airport (and noticed it was a 2x surge). I dropped off in CC, turned off app and went back to airport. Once there I turned it back on and my phone blew up with numerous requests that we over 15min away, one was even 24min. I ignored them all, kept turning the app off and on, and finally got an airport pax ( a $34 ride to Manyunk). That was nice but obviously my acceptance rate dropped. Why they would have been trying to pair me with the other rides is beyond me.
