Im sorry to post this but something fishy you just out of handmy opinion I know, but I havent been on for a while and all I see is your posts about pointless crap.

I think most people on this forum know the shortcomings of uber but either

Have no other source of income
Like it for the social aspect(at times)
Tops up existing income(circumstantial)

Or a combination of the above

But here you are still banging your head against the wall as you have competition for once, yes we know uber and its drivers are not regulated and are flouting existing traffic/passenger transport regulations.

If I owned a taxi plate I would be rather upset of the competition whether it's regulated or not, and been involved in various industries through the years nearly all of them face competition by those who don't follow all the regulations but guess what they adapt and survive.

If you really want uber regulated bang your head at your local mp's door, and if you want them defeated look in your own backyard

Yep. Banging his head against the wall is right. Post after post of "I don't like uber", and completely ignoring any valid argument that deflates whatever his rant of the day is about.

It's a honesty little worrying that uber is upsetting him so deeply, and I truly hope he will be okay. No rational person would spend so much time and effort making the amounts of posts he does just to get absolutely nowhere.

leadcurescancer koolaid reference is made as a derogatory term in American slang. It refers to the mass suicide committed by a cult on the order of their leader in which they drank poisoned koolaid.
It's good to know because I visit the US forums sometimes. Often wondered what it meant. Does it refer to the Jim Jones cult?

POST # 9/UberNow: Yes, it does ONLY
refer to the
Jim Jones Cult Guyana Massacre, with

winks...gone! All to appease a Total-

I remember Kool-Aid from my Youth

Don't get me Wrong. I totally support

TOO MANY for it to be a Coincidence.
Right, Sydney Uber ?

Fish face is Travis Kalanick - but the Aussie version. He owns lots of taxi's and exploits drivers and then *****es and moans when someone comes onto his stomping ground to exploit drivers more than he does.
is/was a Hackney Driver.
I was unaware that he had a Vile Rep-
utation as Exploitative Taxi Mafiosi.

Do You know the size of his "Fleet"?
Have You compared his PayPackage
to Other Cab Cos.?
Is there a SINGLE UPNF Member that
has driven "for him" ?
Or, is he just Brashly Anti#[F]Uber, like
B.B.Barina is Brashly Pro#[F]Uber ?

Bison HAS questions !

Travis is a genius, living out his Walter Mitty fantasies by commercialising some of the worst human behaviours. E.G. - many people are not generous, so develop a taxi service that practically stops tipping

Many people see drivers as servants, develop a Taxi service that gives riders the anonymous power to curtail a driver's job

Set up a referral system which is so generous it encourages people to blatantly lie to friends, family and othe folk about Uber earnings. This is so that they can enjoy the easy referral fees

With Travis's Data collection and future Robot cars able to increase data collection and event recordings, he will have extraordinary "Big Brother " reach.

He has every right to speak his piece, but I only wish he would be smarter about it and not just make things up or post frankly weird stuff.

He wont admit it because he's far too stubborn but every terrible post he makes is making it harder for him. It makes him as a taxi representative look desperate and silly and it makes Uber drivers not want to side with Taxi drivers when the eventual regulation comes into play.

Worst of all he does have some really good points but for some reason he refuses to pursue them (shit, even I told him they were good points to pursue), it's painful to watch. When he posts good things he misses his audience cause most people simply block him because they've got better things to do then read his weird stuff.

Ultimately, his own stubbornness and unwillingness to listen will be his undoing. He wont compete with Uber. He wont loby the government for change. He wont engage the taxi industry to change from the inside.

From your one eyed advocacy of UberX, I doubt you're in any position to judge anyone let alone me, Shock. I have alway spoken for myself and never anyone else. Since I'm being candid, i will tell you and the rest of the forum for my motivation in making the posts that i have and will in the future. It stems from the fact that the bought and sold media in Australia and internationally, have shamelessly acted as UBER's bulldog in tearing apart an industry that's only fault was to comply (at great cost) to government rules. I remember years ago the politicians of the day were talking about media laws and i just couldn't understand why they would want to limit media influence. Now i do.

UBER have not competed fairly and have bought influence with both the media and the politicians for not acting to enforce their own laws. I spoke with that Santo Santoro who was paid $300 000 to lobby for UBER and he couldn't look me in the eye. He told me that he even warned his own kids not to use UberX yet felt the need to take UBER's coin anyway. All the politicians have looked the other way while UBER makes a mockery of state laws. That's right not our laws BUT the state governments laws. It's this type of bullying and corruption that gets me raw. The posts i make are the stories that if i was a journalist i would make. Posts that ask hard questions. Questions UBER has no answers to that should have sunk UBER's global push many years ago. Its my private and personal protest of sorts, against a corrupt group of mongrels, like your self and your employers.

And all for what Shock? A business model that will breed the next generation of tax dodgers, crocks, rapists and serial killers. A business model that rewards those that break the laws. A business model that is a monopoly. A foreign company that is allowed to piss on hard working small business owners while a couple of delinquent white collar criminals get to become billionaires.

Now if you can't step back and see this objectively, thats your problem. At the very least you should have had the good grace to back off and not shovel your UberX crap my way.

Will UberX get regulated in Australia? YES it will. BUT it won't be the same UberX that is driving passengers around today. The "victory" you had in Canberra is a claytons victory since licences are government controlled. Queensland, NSW and Victoria will not be doing you any favours. BUT you will get a free ride into the taxi market regardless, at the expense of the people you wanna side with when regulation comes to town.

Oh for crying out loud, mate. You dont read any of what I write, ever. This is exactly what I mean. Your quite happy to go off on your tirades but when someone actually wants to have a proper conversation or proper debate you wont listen. This undermines everything you do.

I've said it before but again: I Dont Give A Stuff About Uber. I am not an advocate. Jeez, just read most of the posts in this forum - so few are pro Uber as a company.

I dont think they're a good company, but I dont think theyre an evil company. They're just an company. Again, when a better opportunity arises both for me as a driver and a customer I will be happy to jump ship.

I've also said I agree with some of the stuff you've said, but I bet you don't know what that is since you dont read replies.

Your posts aren't 'journalistic' because you very rarely provide sources. They are, at most, tabloid opinion pieces.

Calling them 'rapists and serials killers' is just desperate and pathetic. You can do better.

As for foreign companies coming over here and setting up shop, mate, this is called globalism and is happening allllll the time. I've said it before as its a good and relevant example, but how many times have taxi companies shunned Aussie made cars in favour of imported hybrids becuase it's a smarter business choice?

From your anti-Fairfax posts I'm going to take a punt and guess you're a right wing voter. If so and you are genuine about what you say, your voting for a pro TPP government. Look into that.

Finally, you have every right to vent, but as my OP mentioned, I would personally like you to be smarter about it. If this is your protest, then why are you doing it here? Why don't you find a forum that is for customers?
