I've been driving since last August and I do this full time. I've yet to have anyone really rude or mean to me until my last ride tonight.

without going into details she was a real witch and was making personal insults.

I had 5 stars until her she gave me a 1.

The question is should I message Uber about it regarding ratings. I have her a 1 star. Is there any else I can do?

They don't give a ****, they will black list her from your account and be done with it, in Lyft, lol, last time I reported one of those they undid their rate, gave him a 1, put him on investigation and blocked him.

That is the difference between a human CSR and an automated service.

I still want to know how it's legal for someone under the influence to give a job performance rating?
Performance ratings done right should be done without either person knowing about it, say you give 5 stars and client gives 1, that is a performance review (or well an asshole), when you step into a dispute between both rider and driver, there was something really wrong in that ride and uber should conduct an investigation, dash cams are your best friends.

Yes, report "extremely rude" behavior and anything else you consider unreasonable. Uber will probably investigate. If Uber agrees then there are consequences for the PAX, including deactivation. Giving a PAX a 1 or 2 star rating automatically blocks you from receiving their requests in the future.

I always report the slightest controversy with a rider ASAP! Uber tends to side with the party they hear from first. CYA! Especially if you count on this gig which I do.
Yup I do this all the time. I'm certain it's kept me from being deactivatedone as 2 of these reported me for dangerous driving. Neither had even been in my car but we're pissed I wouldn't let more than 4 in and that they were charged a cancellation fee. I take about 500 rides a month and probably report around 10 just in case of more situations like this
