Now that it's been out awhile, what is the consensus? Should I update?

Although business is down locally, business plummeted after I updated a few weeks ago.

However I am not sure I actually have the "new" app

Uninstall the old app. Don't install the new one. Then get a real job is the advice I'm sure many will give.

New app looks nicer but beacon won't work until you visit the hub.

The answer is always no.
Every revision has been worse.

They keep filling the loopholes and dumbing down the UI for the masses.

The latest info (not substantiated) is that it forces you to use their horrible GPS. THAT is a deal breaker.
