who was the person that should have been ticketed twice at SFO today.

It would have been for:
1-no back trade dress.
2- loading/unloading on the crosswalk while blocking traffic

It’s no wonder why we catch such flack.

Rest assured that if this driver was doing rideshare at SFO and no back trade dress it was observed on one of the hd surveillance cameras, especially at T-2 which is only a few yrs old, has souped up surveillance systems and all activities outside is being watched. An automatic ticket will be generated and sent to Uber and or Lyft.

Oak and SJC are a bit less strict however any person who breaks any rule at an airport these days is naive. There is "total enforcement of laws and rules" at airports for passengers, drivers, visitors, and employees.

Those cameras aren't there for issuing tickets lol Can you imagine if they missed a major security issue because they were using the fancy toys to ticket Uber drivers ?

You better believe they are watching!

When the traffic monitors are not physically present theres another group watching every move made on cam's that can easily zoom in on license plates, they could even review footage and issue tickets from times when not watching.

I appreciate the security and hopefully this will prevent serious crimes from taking place but since there's rarely ever a serious crime committed at the airport, the police and security get bored and use the airport's high level of security as an excuse to hassle drivers. Its about the money, come on the traffic cops have quotas to make each month!

Do you have any proof of this or talking out of your ass? They don't use them for that. I know someone who works at the airport in the security team and they use those to detect possible attacks or crimes being committed not to bust Uber drivers.

If you want proof try driving there yourself to drop off or p/u without proper trade dress and see what happens now or just break another rule there, you sound like a person who likes to challenge everything. I don't know the intimate details but its common knowledge! Good luck and have a nice night!

You know what made me laugh the most was there was a "xchange leasing" frame. He also blocked me in for about 5 minutes.

I would be careful what you wish for. They are usually like hawks circling over a rat. I was pretty surprised they were not out there being 2 dAys after a holiday

They have caught me a couple times but still no tickets, have waited months but nothing .

It's not my intentions to go there without one just sometimes I get pinged with no time to get the trade dress on , my laziness will end me but I hope not.

No. I've Ubered at SFO for three years, choosing not to use a trade dress, and never received a ticket

I have quite a few drops off there daily since I started working for Uber for the last 2 years and my back window is limo tinted so you can't see either my Uber or Lyft sticker but I haven't gotten a ticket yet like the other drivers. The camera could be use for that kind of stuff but they are not. And no it isn't common knowledge.
