Jesus effing Christ, Escoman, you've got a serious problem, with your constant need to seek out attention online. This "news" is 8 months OLD. And you don't even make ANY comment about what you posted! You just through it up there out of some sick compulsion and need to have people respond to something you posted.

Instead of seeking attention by non-stop posting, you should seek the help of a shrink. You may think you're contributing to the information sharing here, but between your posting of old news like this, and your made-up bullschit stories that get gullible members all riled up, all you're doing is wasting people's time. Maybe you get off on that. I think you do. But it's not cool. And if I were the Mod here, I'd ban you're ass permanently for the crap you post.

You're a "New Member", huh? Obviously a sockpuppet for Escoman.

Pathetic.

Mods, ban this moron, and his sockpuppets.

Naw, don't ban him. In many respects he's trying to be helpful. I'm sure there's newer drivers that benefit from his commentary.

He's also posted some serious comments that have been thoughtful and informative pieces of original thought and opinion.

Treat him like a buffet: absorb what you can use and leave the rest.

Did you sign the Uber electronic agreement statement ?
With the multipoint checklist acknowledgement and recognition of policy .
They need to send one of those out to every driver now regarding sexual harassment.

I just got a new thing from Uber requiring me to accept them and so have many others online asking about why they have to accept them
See ?
That makes old article relevant.
Even though a modest brief search involving the slightest effort may have produced more current results,IT CALLS ATTENTION TO A CURRENT MATTER.
Throwing out the first thing within reach can still perform as Catalyst relevant to ensuing developments.

Why do you wish to muddy the waters surrounding a relevant issue? Detracting from the fact at hand. Cease this escape and diversion tactic. UBER Has issued a new electronic acknowledgement contract.

Besides LYFT ONLY DRIVER
How is this relevant to you as a LYFT ONLY DRIVER ?

What is your motive ?

Eight-month old articles, posted as though they're "news", are not relevant, to me, or anyone. But, if you're talking about the topic of service dogs in rideshare cars in general, it is relevant to me, because Lyft follows Uber's every step. Rideshare is an industry with just two players...not counting the small-fry...and so what happens to one of those players affects the other player.

My objection is not to this thread all by itself, it's to Escoman's pattern of incessant posting stuff just to post stuff. And this thread is a perfect example. He finds an old article, posts it as if it was news, and yet makes no comment on the subject matter whatsoever. He throws the topic up on the site, essentially saying, "Here, discuss this thing I posted. I have nothing to say about it, but you will validate my existence if you respond to something I posted.". He's got a sick problem with posting and lying. And it wastes a lot of members' time, who come here to give and take reliable, relevant, and current information.

How is this relevant to you as a LYFT ONLY DRIVER ?[/QUOTE I drive for both Lyft and Uber have said so many times. I also stated I had just recently gotten the agreement . The article may be old but was better than others I looked at. I was a History major and as such I read old stuff. This forum is a mix of new to most experienced and I try to help the less experienced. You are a free person can ignore all my posts won't offend me one bit. You can not please everyone

You know what I really hate about those fargin' agreement updates... I haven't been able to read them on my android phone. It won't allow me to enlarge it.

You could be agreeing to getting only 2¢ per mile after all their new additional deductions but you can't log in w/out agreeing.

Grrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, but lately Esco's been one of the people who regularly starts new threads.

The rest of us kinda hang back and wait for someone to post something. He on the other hand, throws up what some of us think is poop and it doesn't stick but other times he throws up good stuff that does stick. Just think of it as a buffet.

Ohhhhh, that's so 1990-ish. I've always been a social liberal but I've always believed in carrying a big stick so to speak.

I agree with the Illustrious Leader that we should increase defense spending but only on capital expense items that take a long time to roll out. And instead of cutting any social program I think we should tax the bejesus out of the 1% to pay for it. Say a 55% tax rate on them. That would be great for job creation. And then the IL could save a ton of money by doing things like, say, not bombing Yemen. Wait, he already did that. Well, as long as he doesn't get us into WW III....

Think of all the infrastructure we could repair. That's how Eisenhower did it.

He could take the ceiling caps off of the social security tax. Did you know that when you make over $128,000/year, you social security taxes are capped and although your salary increases, you will never pay more then the 7% on your 1st $128,000? If the IL did that alone, it would save Social Security.

Without doing a single thing different, these changing times would probably define me as a far left progressive. I'm always amused by that. I'll bet in 1990 you were a right-of-center moderate and now, you're a conservative. Without changing a thing.

Polarization in America. Ain't it great?
