I've put at least 38k through last 3 years , presumably that would be on condition that we cease working
I think we have to wait to see how it works when it's announced, I have a "drawdown pension" where I can take 25% tax free out each tax year, this is classed as income so my last 3 tax returns average £60-£70k

I would imagine any payments would be based on your net income, it would be silly to base them on gross and then tax you on it.

Summary of what I can share

Eligibility still being decided upon

Gov liaising with FS sector for wholesale channels for obtaining current proof of sole trader income fall off.

as it stands not all s/e meet provision (some s/e actually earning more than they did)

Expected 80% of net monthly income (averaged over the last three years) average still applies for periods under 3 years
Previous employment within 3 years obviously not considered

could be requirement to prove business has ceased trading temporarily
