I've often wondered why Uber doesnt display other nearby cars in the drivers app. Logic would say it's beneficial to Uber for drivers to cover more area and not sit on top of each other. Doesn't it make sense that a larger coverage area would generate more rides?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

They want as many cars online within every block of the country ready for a pickup burning fuel. T-Doggs idea is to have every vehicle on the road an uber. He wants it to be cheaper to use uber than owning a car. How about the drivers??

I'm used to counter-intuitive thinking from Uber and to a lesser degree with Lyft.
Now I'm curious if the distance you can see cars on the Uber pax app is the same as the ping distance (maybe), but to eliminate the ability to see beyond that and blind drivers was STUPID.
Maybe it freed up more program spaces for Badges and the ability to show us whats wrong with us (Cleanliness, professionalism, safety, etc). Gee thanks for nothing. I have an unlimited Car Wash pass that I use in multiple locations more than that company likes and my car isn't clean??

People flip out when they see 8 nearby cars in the rider app. Imagine the meltdown if they could see 15,000 cars across NJ? Where I drive, the ants are piled up around the Wawa. Maybe they are on coffee breaks. Maybe they all had to tinkle. It does not take a genius to figure out where the nicer homes are and go 2 miles down the road to that neighborhood.
