I'm not sure how Uber is handling this now, but I got time down ride to Twentynine Palms about three-quarters of the way there. And told me to immediately drop off my passenger. (Right in the middle of the desert)

I continued on to 29 palms and got the Marine back to his base.

It took a week to get paid after many phone calls.

I take all the long ones.. work in the drop off area for awhile move on......select rides taking you back the direction you came. Monday had trip to LAX $102 ride from LAX to Irvine $75 worked Irvine, Newport, CDM--San Clamente on PCH $300 in 6 hours

I drove a Marine from CBX to 29 Palms. No problem. Fare was paid the next day after their normal "review" period. $220
