Oh yea I forgot to add that Teslas require oil changes now as well. 😆

And the lack of charging stations too.

You know why nobody is investing in charging stations? Because the technology is changing and promises of longer range batteries will defeat the need for them.

Let's face it, currently EV's suck major arse and prematurely launched before all the technical hurdles was overcome.

Have you guys even driven an EV? like for more then a week?. I thought i would Hate EV, but i actually love it!. 350 miles per charge, change brakes 150K miles, runs like a top, cost 12$ to charge. Whats there to hate about EV??
Potentialy requires a 1 hour and 30 minute wasted time for supercharging and commuting to a charging station. Long range rentals much more expensive than regular range and battery degradation due to weather conditions and age may limit your freedom in getting uber or private fares.

It's a no go, not yet quite ready to compete with gasoline engines. No additional tips being reported by drivers too.

Qustion whether I want to be sitting on top of 4500 electric battery cells 12 hrs/day. Cancer risk?
Everything gives you cancer. Banana's are technically radioactive due to having high levels of natural potassium, with some isotopes emitting beta particles. And don't take any airline flights. You're exposed to about 100 times the radiation when flying due to cosmic radiation getting through the lighter levels of atmosphere.

Batteries, especially contained in a metal casing, have not been shown to have any carcinogenic properties. Not any more than all the other artificial stuff you're surrounded by on a daily basis.

Although I'm winding down my rideshare significantly, the level of ignorance by some members of this forum is ironically is what keeps me coming back. I don't have an EV. I don't care about Elon Musk. And I'm not really pro or anti Trump. So I have no horse in the game. But some of you people are legitimately entertaining and give me a smirk from sheer stupidity. Since I'm part of the ridesharing population, I have no problem telling pax that as a group, rideshare drivers (as a general population) are among the most uneducated, paranoid and ignorant group of people I've ever met.

BTW, this isn't meant to be an attack or insult to any one person on the forum. Just a general observation as a result of associating with many groups of people over my lifetime. I think it's good to question the status quo. Also, I'm convinced that many people on the forum don't actually believe what they spout but have ulterior motives or agendas at play which prompt them to spew a bunch of unsubstantiated nonsense.

Wasting the time to post an article like this and then posting this is a new low even for you. How sad.

Just another one of your "EV's BAD" posts with a 5 year old understanding of them.

By the way, what's Chargepoint? A company that installs and maintains charging stations. Why don't you stick to commenting on things you understand? We would welcome the silence.
