Can anyone tell me what driving was like on Cinco de mayo last year? Wondering if it's any busier during the day than a normal Saturday.

There are a bunch of "cinco de mayo" events during the day so I was wondering if it was busier than normal!

Since they celebrate St Patrick's Day on the Saturday before March 17th and Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday, the day before Ask Wednesday) on the weekend also, I don't know why I am surprised they would celebrate the 5th of May on the 6th of May. But this fabricated holiday is actually named after the day it is celebrated on, so it does. Ugh...
