I don't get it.

If you are operating legally <cough> why worry?

Why the vitriol over some one doing their job?

Every nitwit they catch is one less ant on the road and raises your
daily take upwards of pennies!
Every ant they catch doesnt get beheaded or sent to the dungeons... so my take is still peanuts.

Also, they harass regular drivers trying to make a living by giving out bogus tickets... you a NYC driver?

They are looking for ways to crucify us and separate our money from our wallets.
They prey on drivers greed, emotions and misfortune.

You do know that they aren't there just for catching illegal pick ups. They can give u a ticket for pretty much anything. I'm just giving a heads up to other drivers to watch out. And another thing, out of about the 80k-100k TLC drivers in nyc how many do you think are actually on this forum? Not many. And if their job is to steal our "pennies and peanuts" then I have a problem with that.

Sounded to me like the griping was specifically about an undercover.

Feel free to bash TLC otherwise (I've heard some stories.)

As for me, just got the TLC license in the mail last week.

I just moved back to NYC after 35 years. I've got a gig that pays well but isn't steady.

Figured I might as well take my 34 years in the cab business and do something with it, the Backup Job, if you will.

It will plug the gaps. A week here, a week there.

Wait, what's that I hear? "You don't know nuthin' about drivin' in Noo Yawk!"

Choose any or all of the following answers!

F$^* you. Neither do most of the drivers, from what I've seen since February.

F$^* you. Born and raised in Hell's Kitchen learned to drive there, couldn't wait to get out and
really, really did not want to come back.

F$^* you. Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, FL. Owned my own cab company at one point and operated
upwards of 23 cabs in the larger company. Have owned over 100 cabs.

F$^* you. Look me up in the Miami Forum.

Hope that answers some of your questions.
