Do we have to get permission to run Orlando, Tampa, or Daytona? How do we get permission? My husband basically lives off from the major events basically. He loves them.

Email uber support to make sure. I tried to log in in St Pete just to see if I could, and it told me I wasn't authorized.

As long as your husband pays attention to the local regulations he is "technically" authorized to work in the state he is licensed & insured in. Lets not forget the huge political forces that are fighting against uber and taking it out on the drivers. Please note that there are millions of dollars of unpaid traffic violations that have been left for the drivers to handle (for now anyway.) An email to Uber Support might be helpful. What I have also found to be helpful is the individual licensing requirements (by city) that are listed on the Lyft Pages. See Here: https://www.lyft.com/drive/help/topic/region-specific-requirements (note that Florida is not listed) also see here: https://www.lyft.com/drive/help/article/1695469 . Beware, there are these pesky little rides hare cops that have never existed before... these came from Orlando, but checking with the individual cities in this forum might guide your hubby as well.
