Never had I had a bad rose bowl concert in my last 3 years with uber until today
Rip high surge ! First rose bowl concert ever that did not surge over 3x

The other ones were probably sellouts or close to it. This one wasn't close.

I don’t think that 4x was rose rose bowl, that’s Altadena - like 1 mike north of the venue did you get a 4x? I’m talking actual high surge in the place of the venue not like a mile north of the Rose Bowl

I believe ya, but don't think that is H Lot, where the Surge sent is what driver gets.
Uber is slowly compressing Surge to where nothing will go over 2.5x City-wide...imo.

All shorties and parkers!! For hire, wannabe cops for the night traffic controllers, numerous road closures, try and run me over and I'll sue you type pedestrians, limited surge, numerous unaccompanied minors, Lyft super ants juiced up on 60% powerzone, shuttle buses to old town parking lots and whatever else you could imagine was right here tonight. Total WASTE OF TIME and mind you this is in my backyard. Didn't see a single long trip notification out of 50 or so pings. Bar closing, which usually surges proper, was even a bust tonight. Thanks Taylor for killing the surge for what typically is a decent bar closing surge. Felt like I was cattle being lead down in a line to the slaughter house. MMMMOOOOOO!!!
I thought I was tripping I was thinking how come there's no prime-time going on....

It’s been a slow week , the ants all crawled to the honey.
When it’s a surging week ants get satisfied and don’t go to these events but since its been survival mode this week lots of ants at concerts this week

Begs the question: Why the hell was it surging over 4.0 north of Swift concert at that hour? Crazy.

You mean you don't know by now? Uber does that on purpose to draw in the ants close to where they want them, teases them with some sweet sugar and then once they're close enough, gives them pings from where the real demand is at half the surge. It seems like its becoming their MO more and more.
