So I have noticed that I see Uber drivers having a co-pilot when they are Ubering... I have seen there significant other and even kids in the passenger seat.

Is this what we are doing now?

I think Anong hit it on the head. My co worker and his wife do eats and tag team. But they only do eats not both. And to be honest if i saw someone tag teaming on regular uber id cancel and report. Play by the rules or don't play at all. Unless its avoiding pool then by all means break the rules.

For those people that want an upscale experience in an Uber! (even better than a limo!)

While the pilot/driver is driving you to the destination, they provide in ride services to the passengers including the safety exits, inflation devices, drinks, snacks, hot towels, foot massages, etc.

Actually I've had a pool and it included a flight attendant picking up even more flight attendants to the airport. I thought I was a delta express bus...

I have nearly 500 uber rides and I think I have had that twice, once was a drivers wife another was his friend just riding around, pretty sure this violates Uber rules. How do you know they aren't a pool pax?

It definitely violates Uber rules and can get you instantly and permanently deactivated if reported. Some may fly under the radar, but it would only take one report to get you done. If you are concern with safety driving alone, Uber is not the job for you unfortunately.

I see this too. If they're too worried to drive alone at night, Then don't drive. What would she have done if she had the max number of passengers? She's required accommodate 4.

If you did not request pool but requested anything else then they can not be a pool passenger

The female driver should carry an s and w or a taser. Now sure, it's against the rules but you are a female and most people would understand or just don't drive at night.

I carry because I have a permit to do so. It's my job to protect me so I don't care what rules Uber has in that aspect.

You are correct, but the question is for the OP. A pool pax may have picked shotgun and then were seen by OP. Unless OP is saying as a rider he is seeing this more and more.

If you're matched with a rider or another person is a pool customer in the car, their name is shown on your ride screen too

Exactly, but we still don't know if the OP is about seeing other Ubers and assuming it is not POOL or if they are taking non pool trips with more than the driver in the car.

I would look in the car and tell the driver to cancel the trip. "Sir/Madame if you charge me for this im reporting you.". What happens if I need four seats?

My only problem with women carrying is the level of fear. It's the same way I see a lot of women terrified to merge into traffic, or to speed up as opposed to slowing down to take a lane... I'm a pretty big dude and I have been canceled on by a lot of female drivers, and I think that's a problem. If you're scared go to church.

No I'm seeing drivers around the city and in the RAA lot. Plus I have taken an X ride with a woman and her boyfriend in the passenger seat. It's happening and is becoming more common.
