Thinking of doing Ubereats and some other food delivery instead of Rideshare as a whole. It feels less risky compared to picking up random pax. Is it a good idea? How’s the market now? I hope the whole staying inside and most restaurants going delivery only means more orders and pings. Am I right or AM I RIGHT?

It sucks. DT mostly belongs to bikers and walkers.
Fridays evening and Sundays are usually the only good days.
Other days if you work 10am-2pm then 6p-12am, you could probably make $140 these days.
Wednesdays for some reason are dead.

Mind you some drivers can make more. The reason is they just get more pings for some reason.

Today from 6pm-11:30pm I made close to $65 for 6 deliveries.

We will see how it goes from tomorrow onwards since there would be no Dine-ins. Probably every Uber driver would have his UE turned on.

Done is cancelled. People are staying home and people will be hungry. All of this could actually translate to more and more deliveries but,and that’s a big but, the paranoia could work against it as well.
store shelfs are empty and people need to eat somehow.

Have you not seen the two threads about Food Delivery/UberEATS? its slower than ever now. COVID19 is not boosting deliveries either... don't believe the hype about "people wanting to order more now because they aren't going out"... its actually dead yesterday and today... unless you are on a bike, as bikers get all the orders first!
