Did this happened to any one. Some one else ordered Uber, the pax sitting in the car does not have Uber account. You drive towards destination and when you merge on highway, the person who ordered Uber cancels on you.

Had something similar happen on Sunday morning. Was driving 3 really drunk pax home. I get to destination and stupid me ends the trip once the pax in front seat gets out, and they tell me there are more stops. They are so drunk they cannot operate the phone any longer. I get the next two locations out of them, take them there, and then immediately email Uber about the situation.

Before my shift was over at 9am I had the correction on my app for the missing fare.

So it did work out, just email uber right away. It did not hurt that I have the dash cam running the whole time and indicated that in the first email.

If its cancelled u r on your own , no insurance , if uber it's not responsible to pay u any fare after trip ends, taking risk it's not worth it

Yes happened to me last weekend but the good part was i just started the trip and confirmed the address. The guy who ordered was thinking that he can order 2 rides at the same time.

Pull over and drop them off asap
Yeah, I'm sure they'll take care of it like citytypeofguy's cancellation fee.
30 messages no budging! They given me three different excuses. Saying I was 300 meters away, wrong. Saying I didn't wait 2 mins, wrong. Like they r the worst bro

Yeah, they are getting worse. I too am now not getting correction to some fares. Unfortunate it is limited in what we can do about it. Seems there are a couple of things before the courts now so all we can do is wait. I personally refuse to do certain things for riders unless I get compensated in the form of a tip "for going above and beyond". That doesn't help with cancellations.

I can't remember if you mentioned if your device said rider notified. I have noticed sometimes it doesn't kick in so it is possible that was the issue. I have never had a problem getting cancelation fees when I know they have been notified through the app and even manually trigger it when picking up riders early in the morning, in large condo's/apartments and riders with ratings lower than 4.7.

He no show pools after the 2 minute timer is up. I'm sure with pool, everyone is just cancelling after the 2min timer. No need to keep our own timer when it does it itself.
