If I go in for my free oil chsnge with damage caused by a snow plow, will the dealer take note of it and would it be on record and damage my chances of exchanging or selling in the future?

Dealers don't do anything for free, unless they absolutely have to. Assuming you're not going to pay the dealer to assess the damage and provide a repair estimate, they're not going to report anything to anyone.

Yes they will take internal record of damage so they won't be blamed for it. They will actually make you sign a sheet. No it won't go on your carfax

Yeah I don't wsnt them to do anything just the scheduled maintenance. Good to know. Been to a few body shops snd the best one so far will repair my fender and passenger door (caused by Lyft pax which went no where) for 750 cash with no reporting which is good. I don't wsnt insurance or anyone to know being as I plan to trade it in next year
