Anyone else see their rating dip this month? Been driving since September and was wondering if it was seasonal. Seems like the vacationers and snow birds are gone, and the locals rate harsher for generally shorter rides.

What can possibly go wrong on minimum fare or near minimum fare rides? I don't get it.

Rule #1: Never discuss ratings with drivers

Bottom line, they do not pay the bills. If your ratings continually dip, you are doing something wrong which you need to identify and fix. This has been discussed a gazillion times (trust me, just look around this forum and you will think, this guy ain't lying).

Absolutely. Good thing ratings don't mean anything.

I’ve seen my ratings increase actually just a small percentage. I’m at a 4.94 currently. I could care less though because I am super consistent with my driving and everything else.

I seriously doubt there is very much of a widespread swing up or down. My Lyft # is up, Uber unchanged over winter. A wild swing may indicate a personal issue, or just plain bad luck with some bad pax.

Umm, they don't like what you drive, or there's an unusual smell, maybe they didnt like how you looked at them or addressed them??? The list goes on and on.

I dropped to a 4.85 from a 4.87. I drove over 100 rated rides in March at 5.0 during spring training. My non 5.0 rated rides have increased recently, even though nothing else has changed. I think I am going to stop driving in the lower income areas as most have been short or mid range drives. I am beginning to think that is where my lower ratings are coming from also.

There are going to be pax that de-rate by how their day is going and for sillier reasons. Can't help that. Listen to advice on here to bring them up and be professional and be courteous. You can make up for it.
