I don't even mess with gaurantees anymore, especially after the started the time requirements. Only once has a guarantee ever worked out better for me than if I hadn't signed up, and that was only by about $15, and for that I had to email them to haggle over it. Waste of time. Not worth the headache.

"What are you waiting for? It is surging in Midtown."

Took a look & it was surging at x1.5 in Westchase. I do not drive 37 miles just to ride a surge that will be gone by the time I arrive. Plus I was in bed. If I had been in the area to run an errand, maybe. Not at midnight, though.

That's the same text I posted last night here. It only surged fir a minute or two I guess because I snapped a pic of the map one minute later and there was nothing but a bit of yellow and orange.

Has anybody received the guarantee for this weekend yet?

I haven't received any guarantee for the weekend either. When I emailed support, they said that guarantees are only sent to "specific group partners", and that they "rotate" to keep the system fair for everyone. I responded, "I wish this was explained at the beginning of the offerings since people, like myself kinda depend on making them now." She told me that if I didn't receive one now, wait for others that might be offered to me.

They used to offer $42 /hr, 7 trips for 12a-3a on Friday and Saturday. You're wasting time chasing those guarantees.

So dang annoying! I'm not driving this weekend. I wonder if I text stop and then sign-up again; if it'll effect me. I live close to NRG - the biggest surge I saw was x3.0. The whole city was yellow/orange but that's about it.

I saw a 5.4 surge at NRG last night. I was nowhere near there. But someone cashed in I'm sure.
