South Florida rain, is this good or bad for business? Aside from the fact that coverage on phone might be spotty at times. Interested in hearing from those who have been driving for some time now.

The only change is that you may get more fares under 1 mile.

IMO rain slows traffic (therefore service) so there is the impression on passengers and drivers demand is greater. I don't think that many people decide to hail just because it's raining.

I got lucky n got a trip to the airport but OMG, the ride bk out to Broward was a crawling nightmare .... a 25 mile trip took 1 hr . On the way back it was raining cat n dogs... it took 2 hrs . At least it was a lux ride, but still!

Not sure about it because it doesn't surge like it used to... and having wet seats and muddy matts in my car isn't any fun either

I don't drive in the rain at all. It's not worth worth getting into a accident for .85 per mile and then screwed by your insurance. When it rains, I stay my black immigrant azz at home!!!

I noticed surges throughout town yesterday, not just the usual areas. Sounds like drivers are staying home.
