So I am in Encinitas checking out Del Mar to see if it may be good to cruise down, but it says "Race Day" as the only option, and it shows ghost cars not real cars driving around. Then when I try to request it asks me if I want to request Delivery like if I'm ordering Uber Eats.

Did they mess this up? I don't want to drive down and wait if pickups are all messed up

Driving near the racetrack has always been a pain.

Drove by and cars are just sitting, seems like the pax don't know to walk there are request. Looking at the app now there are like 15 Select cars, some Black & SUV, the X cars are there but offline. Maybe it will change now that it is 9pm, but from looking at the rider app I don't think people understand how to request this.

Yea I think that was a concert. Such a weird day, the races themselves were a bust but the concert seemed to get riders. I bailed when I heard a couple guys talking about how they got their 2 hours ago and so many were sitting.

I was seeing that too. I had to put my pin outside the track area. I think they do it so the herd of drunks gets prodded into the constantly moving cattle staging area. Ubers attmpts to organize the pickups have been a total fail over there. Del Martians and all their political BS have put up all kinda road blocks for improvements and I think the Track itself might be extorting from Uber. The best pickup area so far was the one at the north east corner, but I only saw it there one weekend for some other event.

I have no idea what the delivery BS is. glitches in some new code they probably just rolled out to use in the latest update. Is your app up to date? Mine is not and won't be.
