If you provide the parts, any auto mechanic can do the swap for you. I think wheel and tire places would be able to do the job as well.

I would guess the cheapest would be 300 - 500 bucks just for the labor.

You are in LA. There are a bunch of asian specific mechanic shops that can do it.

Also why are you replacing them? It's very hard for shocks to go bad unless you are pushing 140k miles already.

So I need new shocks ob my IS250
Local shop trying to rape me with no lube ($1600) I found some places that sell shocks online way cheaper, but would love any recommendations.

Just buy the parts yourself and find a mechanic that will do the labor.
hispanic mechanics are the best.no games no hassle they just do the job

Thats kinda what i was thinking ,but last time i did that with my brakes and rotors they started to screech like its 1999 within a month!
