I'm looking more for information:

Live on Long Island, NY near Islip airport

I currently have a normal driver’s license; do I need a TCL license? How much does it cost? UBER, nearest office is about an hour and half away, do I need an appointment? Can I pick-up at airport and drive into New York City, legally?

Insurance, My insurance broker tells me his company will not insure an auto and driver used for BUSINESS, therefore I'd have to get insurance through UBER, any info for this.


Lastly, I've read some post stating drivers had a good day, meaning money. So, if I made three trips from Islip airport to Queens or Manhattan approximately how much would I earn?

I would recommend you get your lic and rent uber car so you can try first, then buy car if this job is for you...
