Curious if anyone had experience using both a tablet and phone simultaneously. I am trying to use a tablet for the sole purpose of ubering, however I also want my phone running it at the same time. I like the idea of having the tablet display all the Uber information for the rider while keeping my personal stuff personal. I don't want to buy the tablet until I know this is possible. I have heard just use the tablet solely and leave phone out of equation, however I still need it to navigate and keep it close to eye level. The tablet would be directed more at passengers. Possibly even something they could use during the trip. But again I don't want personal texts popping up or bill collectors calling nonstop interrupting the experience. In a perfect world I picture phone and tab connected together and tab displaying current uber route and nothing else. I don't want to tinker with tab every time I take a rider... I would use phone and tab would mirror that. Any ideas or thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Make sure if you use 2 deprecate cell, only download Uber driver app on the working cell, if not you will get request on both and that's no good for you.
Remember you will be earning a wooping .65 cent per mile while customer is in vehicle, minus Uber payment of .16 cent per mile, yes they get 25% of your earnings or .49!cent per mile. so don't waste money on crap to share with customers, and don't drive around with app on like the other yoyo s and waste gas

My bad .80 minus 25% equals .60 per mile
Average ride 5 miles
5*.80 =4.00 - 25% = 3.00 for you
Say it takes you 10 minutes to pick up customer that's on your time
Then 15 minutes to drive them
Total time driving 25 minutes
Your total earnings 3.00 to 4.00
If that happens two times per hour you make
6 to 8 per hour, don't forget to deduct fuel you purchase.
They take 20% from me not 25. Either way I'm not guna have my post hijacked by another bean counting crazy person like the majority of all the other posts. The premise behind the post was to find out if the Uber app can be mirrored to another screen exclusively. Your advice is to buy another phone. Noted, thank you.

I took an Uber a few weeks ago from a guy using a Tablet for the app (along with controlling Pandora and any other app he had that he believed was useful). Guy also had a 4.67 rating as well, so yield on the side of caution and make sure you know what your doing if you go that route.
