Drunk person is not supposed to drive car due to his or her poor judgment (medically proven)
Uber drunk customer can judge the driving of uber driver and rate them !
Don't u think so that uber should improve the method to rate drivers specially by drunk riders !

Hey Xercius,

I can't say when a drunk rider would do the actual rating, but I would guess probably not right as they get out of the car. Drivers need to rate the riders almost immediately after the trip because that's how another trip request can come in. But riders don't have to rate the drivers immediately after the trip. The app will prompt them to rate the most recent trip the next time the app is opened. So I'm sure some drunk riders probably do rate immediately after the trip, but if they are truly that drunk, rating the trip is probably not even on their mind as something to do after the trip.

This is just my guess, I don't have actual #s since Uber doesn't track if a rider was drunk or not.

I don't know if drunk people skew the rating system as much as we think (at least for me). What skews ratings for me is the younger, self-entitled crowd that probably never worked a job and don't realize that a 3 or 4 star rating is a "fail." This is Uber's fault, too, for not letting the clients know that anything less than a 5* rating literally is saying "fire this driver so less drivers are on the road so surge pricing is more likely and we will have to wait longer for a pick up now."

Ha!

I don't know. I know other drivers rate drivers lo. It doesn't matter if they're drunk sober wearing clean diapers and freshly powdered

I have a question as I'm very new to this forum and new to Uber as well. Only drive when I can which isn't that often. I've learned a lot reading posts on how people rate your riders. My question is the riders rating. I thought I had read somewhere that if a rider doesn't rate you in a certain amount of time that it auto's to a 5. Is this true and if so what is the time limit. I know I've drove only 1 ride yesterday (limited time) and it was a good ride, no tip, so I gave him a 4*. But he has not rated me yet. Since he was my only rider for the day what if any is the time limit they have to rate you? Or does it just stay unrated. This guy was really nice and a truck driver who rode his bike and doesn't live in my area, but uses Uber all the time.
