Lately I have been receiving a number of promotions or "quests." At first it was awesome because I am very goal driven so an example of one was complete 25 trips and receive an additional $30.00 between Friday 4am and Monday 4am. This past weekend I received complete 45 trips and receive an additional $58. I have found that uber has made it harder to receive trip requests almost on purpose. I have never had issues receiving rides and for example today I have been on for about two hours and have not received not one and I went to Charlotte and came back to Mooresville and still nothing. Has anyone had first had experience with quest?

Oh! and are Sundays a waste of time???

You are doing better than me. I only received $25 for my quest of 20 rides. I hit that on Friday/Saturday night. I had 27 trips Sat/Sun, but no more quest money available. I have been having far more pings on Uber vs Lyft. When Lyft comes in it is usually after I am already on an Uber fare and forgot to go offline. Sundays do seem to be really slow.

Yes! Although I do not drive any more than my usual hours but I did notice I did not give the usual amount of rides.

Sundays are awful for Uber, I don't waste any free time I have doing it Sundays. Very random and sporadic and the rides I'd get would take me places I didn't want to go and waste a lot of my time getting back.

I drive Saturday nights only and the last few shifts, I've noticed a huge rise in Lyft drivers. The little pink pill lights on the dash. They must be making a huge push in Charlotte.

Okay! I thought it was me, I feel like they do it on purpose due to the "free money" that they believe we are making when the truth is we earn it.

I have been seeing a lot of Lyft drivers too, and you know what I am no longer going to waste my Sunday's either... I am going to stick to my friday nights and Saturday's.

Sunday ended up being a 400 mile day as my last fare at 1:15am wanted to go to Winston-Salem. Glad I bought a Prius, but it was dead on the way back to Mooresville. I was constantly busy the whole day started at the airport, went to S. Carolina for airport pickup, until the end all fares were near each other. $233 for 11 hours was the grand total. Better than my Friday or Saturday, but 100-150 more miles.

It was dead until 9:30-10pm, then it finally got busier, but no surge until the bars closed. I hit my 32 rides for $40 quest with Uber then shut off Uber and did prime runs from 1:50-2:50 with Lyft. I think I am always going to shut down Uber on Friday and Saturday bar close, $3.50 is not enough to deal with all the drunks

uber failed this past weekend, anyone had issues with their app? I didn't get a ride for 3 straight hours which is uncommon especially huntersville area and I could not see my fares it kept saying loading and come to find out their direct deposit featured lagged

Last few sessions I've driven, I'd find myself in the middle of a surge area yet no dollar amount would be in my surge bubble for the next ride. This has happened more than 10 times lately. One night I parked in the middle of the area and nothing. It was $6 and of course when I got the next ping, it had no surge. I call to complain each time and they ask if I have a screen shot as that's the only way they can see the surge map. My phone is from my job and has screen lock disabled so I can't take them. So I lose the money. Only way I've found to get the money to show up in the bubble is to go off-line and then go right back online. But then you risk the surge disappearing as it so often does when I go online. Very frustrating.

When ever I go after a surge, I watch it like a hawk. Funny thing. When ever I video record my phone while coming to a surge... it works... (recording it with a different device.) and if it did not, then I have proof. I also had video of the surge going off as soon as I hit the border of it... (few mos ago, but I let it go... Has not happened in a while, but I normally don't chase surges unless it is in the direction I am already headed.)
