No quest so far this week. Anybody else?

What were the Hertz promos like?
I don't exactly remember the dollar amounts for each level but the one they had for the last few weeks had a bonus for 50, 75, 90, and 105 rides that totaled $210 for hitting them all. They charge $214 a week for a car from Hertz. Hard to make a living on that if it's your only option but it was better than zilch while my car was in the shop.
I like that.

Okay, I got to the bottom of it. At the beginning of July I rented from Hertz for a week so I could still do Uber while my car was in the body shop. That triggered the promo Uber has for drivers that rent from Hertz. I returned the car after 7 days but somehow the Hertz promo stuck all through the rest of July and August and up until last Sunday. Somebody finally caught the mistake and undid it. I'm sort of screwed for this week but next week I'll be back on whatever promo they have for regular not-Hertz drivers.
So much for your theroy, Greg1973.
If you received 8 weekly bonuses you were not eligible I think Uber will take that money back.
Hope not.

Thanks, man. Fingers crossed. I think since it was their mistake and I was unaware of what was happening, I'm technically not liable. I once read that if your neighbor contracted to have a fence built and you come home to find that the contractors goofed and built it in your yard, you're not liable. But if you were home when they showed up and sat there watching them build it knowing you never ordered a new fence, that's on you and you have to pay. If course Uber will do whatever the hell they want.

Well, I have no doubt anyone would accept the bonus. They make tons of $ at our expense.

Even if they claim it back you could argue that you weren't aware about it but since you were driving at least 115 rides per week you were eligible for the weekday and weekend bonus they offer (around $180 weekly) so they may claim only around $250 back.
Or if you hit some CS, then you are about even.
If... hope not.

So just finished my promo, 30 rides in 13 hours, made a total of 183.47 and Lyft putting in the rest, plus tips I get a total of 288.50 total. Is that a decent pull or am I still being ripped off? I found doing pool and short trips with this incentive works out for me, keep the miles low and pays out to about 22 an hour.

It seems okay for Lyft. In Chicago a driver can make a little more on Uber than Lyft, IMO. Driving mostly Uber my per-hour is a little higher than that.

It was a mix of maybe 4 hours in the burbs and the rest in Chicago after 7pm and about 6 hours on labor day. I'll be honest this entire summer was friggen slow as balls, but it feels like stuff may be picking up again.

I don't know about your balls but mine are pretty fast : )
Yeah, summer is kind of slow. It starts picking up around now.
They raised it back up again to 60..
I haven't had a 35 in months, not even the weekend. I think it depends on how much you drive. If you drive a lot they don't give you the lower quest. Way to reward your dependable drivers über

I've had nearly the same quest config for last two months, between $50 and $60 for 35 and more for the 2nd tier. Though my driving hours have been more limited as the summer moved on, I've only hit the quest twice in last 2 months.

You would think that quests would get juicier for higher rated drivers...nope.
You would think that quests would get juicier to get drivers out driving more...not really.
You would think that quests would actually be a motivator....not really.
