I'm all in favor of an UberX/XL protest; I just don't feel that we have any viable means of organizing. There are just too many drivers out there that are drinking the kool aid and believe they are making "life changing money" at $0.85/mile.

In order for an UberX/XL protest to be successful, we would need to pull hundreds of drivers together and get organized.

That's why we do the same thing UberBlack did have one or two people on the customer app making requests then nicely encourage that they stop working. The main goal is not to have every single driver off the road but to have enough drivers at the same place same time chanting protesting to cause enough attention to catch the public eye and the medias attention, which will also have the attention of Uber after they notice that the public is starting to realizes that they are not who and what the advertised to be.

Which can cause a lot of turbulence in their operations here in DFW. The last thing they want is the city officials to find out that they manipulated them in to bringing Uber into DFW, which they advertise that they would create jobs and great competition for the transportation industry, which they did but left out the part where they would also have to mislead thousands of drivers into subprime loans, and then cutting rates so much that when you work you would be automatically losing money with absolutely no profit.

They would have to see quickly they have two options to raise the fares or risk having the permit to work in DFW revoked. They gave that gift to UberBlack to sweep them under the mat so no one else sees a mess. If you see every video, article, and post UberX issues weren't addressed you UberX drivers didn't make or show yourself present. The titles alone prove that they clearly state "The UberBlack driver's are protesting because they can't afford to pick-up fares for UberX". But in reality "The UberX CAN'T AFFORD TO PICK-UP FARES FOR UberX"!

We got driver's in Priuses and other hybrids not making money!. What Uber did is they wanted to quit while the getting was good. They realized that only UberBlack drivers are protesting and UberX, UberXL, and UberSelect weren't present so they had to keep them quiet so the others don't wake up and smell the scam. They think they got all the other driver's fooled.

They didn't just give UberBlack what they wanted they said you have to opt-out to make it look like Uber "had" their foot down, because they didn't want all the other platforms to know that we made them sweat....but we all see their foot is no where near the ground and they are sweating .

SO I ENCOURAGE ALL THAT THIS APPLIES TO EVERY PLATFORM EVEN "UBERBLACK" THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH TIME WE CAN TAKE A LOSE...SO SPREAD THE WORD WE WILL BE PROTESTING! FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT TO COME OUT AND SUPPORT "REMEMBER WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK LIKE SLAVE EVERY DAY OR HOPE ONE DAY YOU WILL HAVE FREEDOM!"

I deliver bad or no service 1 rider at a time. Just say NO to 1X or Accept and cancel before arriving. The closer you get to the rider before canceling, the more it stings. Don't worry about ratings. Having a good rating rewarded by pay cuts is the best disincentive ever. You gotta get mean with riders without getting personal. So what if you get cutoff from the app. What did you lose?

Sorry UBER SELECT, BLACK AND SUV, to give you the bad news, but It's not over until we unit on one accord. As a BLACK SUV, driver running under the SELECT, BLACK AND SUV - CLASS, My app has been change around 50 time still trying to force me on UberX Rates. Seems like this support team think there playing a video games with people lives and Lively hood. this must be address on a larger scale to get the proper results, If we keep putting a band-add over it, then keep playing the same game bumping the cut, the band-add will not heel the cut.

There is a taxi rate schedule that is defined by the city. Although the text reads as more of a rate cap rather than a rate minimum (though I'm thinking it may be both).
