Howdy all you Ants! On this episode of Frank talk with Frank Tupelo, I'd like to discuss proper driver nutrition and nourishment. Providing the highest quality livery services requires us to be of sound mind and body. To perform at peak levels for extended durations, us ants must properly fuel our service providing vessels. No, I'm not talking about petrol, I'm talking about high-octane foods.

Yours truly, aka the Lord of the Ants is a scholar of all the latest literature. I therefore know that a ketogenic diet is ideal for the proper care and feeding of an ant. I also know that intermittent fasting will help us maintain our chiseled physiques. That said, us ants must eat two protein-filled meals a day - I prefer lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner are also ideal times to dine with other folks in your industry and discuss deals while breaking bread.

Given that I work at the Crescent for my day job, I prefer restaurants in the area that can provide for my dietary needs. My first recommendation is a Dallas staple, Nobu. Nobu serves sushi and other sea derived proteins. Many fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which I highly recommend for heart health.

For you ants who prefer red meat, I highly recommend Nick and Sams. Not only do they serve prime cuts of beef, but the ambiance reeks of old Dallas deal-making. You can imagine all the good ole baws who have sat at those tables and closed oil and gas deals through the years.

Finally for my pork loving baws, I would suggest Perry's on a Friday. You ants know Frankie Bobby loves to preserve his capital while protein loading. The pork-chop special on Fridays perfectly fits this bill.

Many of these places also offer deep wine lists and superb selections of islay scotches. The Lord of the Ants loves his smokey, peaty, briney scotches, so a selection of well-aged scotches from the islay region of Scotland is imperative. Of course, for those ants who choose to participate in a wee bit of dram, please, I implore you, do not return to work after partaking.

Toodles,

The Lord of the Ants

May I suggest my personal favorite; MacDonald's Sausage McMuffin. And, if you've had some good rides with tips, then by golly, go ahead and splurge by adding an extra slice of American cheese on that McMuffin. Including the added extra slice of cheese, it's only $2.05 including tax. And, no tipping!
And, they won't look at you funny when all you want to drink is a nice cool cup of ice water. Re-fills are free!

Frankie T, I see that you are still making friends and enemies. They will learn to love you or they will block you! I promise.

This is a great topic of discussion and I will weigh in. My go to spot is Chipolte where I switch from a steak or vegan bowl. That guac is packed with nutrients. I prefer not to drive on a full stomach as eventually I will need to find a clean #2 release spot, which I will usually end up handing the hotel valet $5 and let him know that I need to check on a reservation really quick.

I will post it later, but I wanted to get feedback on who has the best Ice Tea in the metroplex. #quicktrip #QT used to be my favorite but their quality has diminished.

I just can't bring myself to eat at a place that even has ketchup, or as Frankie Baby likes to call it - prole sauce, on the premises let alone put it on my food.

Re: Quicktrip. I agree with you. Since their recent expansion, I also feel their quality has indeed suffered.
Re: Ice tea. As a senior citizen, I'll just stop at a Whataburger and get a free "senior" cup and fill it with their ice tea.
It's good enough for me and quenches my thirst. Besides, beggars can't be choosers.

Wow. But tell me please, how much do you tip the club's valet when they park your Kia?
Lord Frankie doesn't drive a Kia. I've been open about the fact that I lease a couple luxury vehicles. However, they are not the makers top of the line model. I love my precious capital too much to misemploy it on depreciating assets.

Why you all knocking Kia's? My $18k Kia runs on XL and Select while most idiots run $20k+ cars on Uber X and $30k+ cars on XL and select.

If I had a maid, he/she would be taking Uber's which makes most business sense.
I'm not knocking it, I appreciate your frugality in this matter. Unfortunately, Lord Frankie has a certain image to project in his day job and therefore must uphold a minimum standard. That said, I am an expert negotiator and I found I was able to lease for rock bottom prices. Probably would cost me more out of pocket to own a Kia and pay the note.
