What do you all think about these prices at Lyft's new Driver Center? (on Bayshore, just past Lowe') I've been paying $65 for synthetic oil change combo, so their price for the same thing looks high. I mean, come on Lyft, we're not stupid!! Whoever they have contracted to do this should be giving a discount for the volume of business they can expect. What do you think of their offerings?

I recommend oil can Henry on 7th and folsom. They change your oil while in car. You can see them change it on camera. It is hard to trust a lot of these mechanics do change the oil and filter

What a wacky company.

Why would I trust them with my vehicle when I can’t trust them to deliver decent earnings and to be a somewhat reliable employer?

I don’t get it. Design the app to faq me all day and make threats, then say oh bring your car in for service by OUR techs....we’ll do you right?

Nah....

Why not just focus on rideshare economics instead of competing now with local REAL businesses?

Perhaps they require ANOTHER reason as to why they are not profitable.

How is offering this service now going to put them in the black?

I'm surprised they aren't doing even more of this crap. I could easily see them barraging us with come-ons for Omaha Steaks, Dollar Shave Club, Sherry's Berries, and all those janky companies that sponsor guys' YouTube channels every time we log on to the app. Just wait.
