Can someone actually confirm with evidence that previously written off cars can't be registered with Uber? I thought of selling my 2015 Corolla (clean title) and buying a hail damaged 2015-2018 comfort eligible car that's like 10k.

Repairable write offs are dirt cheap

But that's not going to work if Uber won't accept previously written off cars

The car is reparable write off from 2016 and it's been registered since then and still !
Tread carefully with WOVR (written off vehicle register) affected vehicles - there can be issues insuring them plus repairs are often carried out by unqualified backyarders. No insurance means no platform access. I bought a repo for my family car (2015 Outlander). No damage, just dirty around the edges. Way better off with repos from the auctions than WOVR vehicle from some dodgy Gumtree dude in Roxburgh Park. The reason insurers find them difficult to ensure is they can't commoditise their valuation into their book easily. Be very careful. Right now Southbank is full of flats being emptied into the street - Chinese are not able to return to Australia to finish their studies. Lots of cars will hit the repo auctions within weeks. Pounce on their misfortune.

It's looks and drives amazing.
Do you think there is any chance not to be insured or to be passed the inspection.
!!!!
Mate, I gave you the link. Do you think any of us is going to know any more than redbook themselves have published?

Call Redbook if that's not enough for you.
