This is a quick straw poll in the local base here to see how many people NEED (as in buy food and other staples) to use PAYFARE or UBER'S Cash-Out system. EVERY DAY.
It is intended to give any casual visitor to the forum a sense of 'just how bad' things have gotten in the 'gig' economy in Toronto and the surrounding area, and also how different types of drivers use (or do not use) pay out systems.

Please answer in terms of whether or not you are a full time or part time driver, as per the poll above. There is no shame in this, but it should give a broad look on how people use RideHail in Toronto to meet their expense obligations.

(It stems from a coversation in this thread: https://uberpeople.net/threads/payfare.346170/page-2#post-5305007 )

Next poll will be: How many use Money Mart and Payday loans companies ... IMHO Definitely shaming
As this is an anonymous poll, it's not shaming anyone in particular. It is giving a survey of the circumstances of how people drive in the GTA. You are certainly welcome to your opinion on the matter, but I don't see how specifically it is SHAMING.

I guess it's a big shocking news to some people that some drive uber full time and broke.
There is a difference between 'news' and 'data.'
News sells newspapers
Data is the basis for knowledge and decision making.

To be more precise, "Data is a representation of true fact"...

I could only imagine the stress snd the frustration one can go thru doing this gig as FT. I know I can’t. In the meantime can’t think of any other reason/ motive to do it rather than making a living. And we make that work for us anyway we want it, there’s no shame!

As long as you drive uber full time in a beater, yet reliable car like corolla/civic, you'll definitely make money. All the cries of people making 3.99/he are from people driving uber in a expensive car
The Tesla guy on here won't tell me how to get a Tesla while making $3.99/hr
