Well thanks to Uber’s awesome negotiation skills and making things easier for drivers, there is now have a dedicated drop off location at the PNC pavilion.

I used to be able to drive up via the VIP lane for drop offs, and drive out of there pretty quickly.
Now the newly negotiated drop off area requires blending in with the slow crawl of cars up to the entrance and waste an extra 30+ minutes sitting in traffic. Even when approaching from the north.

I used to ignore this highly-congested areas when these concerts get out. But now I can take the entire night off whenever there is a concert in town... just so I don't get a PNC destination drop off.

GREAT Job UBER and thanks for your help!

Yep, it's terrible out there. Almost 45 minutes in the line on Pavilion Blvd just trying to get to the pax that canceled just as I turned into the pickup area. $4!!! w0000t!!!!

No to mention getting lectured by a cab driver passing by in opposite direction who felt the need to share how great a deal he has driving a cab and how he'd NEVER Uber....lol.

Yep, useless. Got a request from 8 miles out. I cancelled. Then again from 4 miles out. Thought I would try it, what a nightmare. Was able to get passengers to walk to end of Blvd. Then took me about 3o minutes to get around traffic to their hotel only 6 miles away. At least surge was over 3x. Complete waste. Never again. Never a NASCAR race. Good advice for taking night off so you do not get a drop off request. Rate will be non surge and driver will lose big time. So far I have not had a drop off request.

If driving a TAXI at least 50 cents per minute while in drive mode. If dropping off a passenger they will probably jump out and walk. Then one can turn around and bail. May be it is time to work for Taxi company, they probably would be very happy to hire drivers who's first language is English.
