Might only be me but wow, picking up at the MOA is a lot harder than it really should be. Some people really get confused where they are & thus trying to find them turns into a time consuming mission. Im thinking they should have an east and west pick up points for the MOA. So when like when someone is at the airport it will direct them to their closest pickup point, east or west side of the mall. Am I alone with my struggles in picking up at MOA? If I am, what are your tips?

Last week I arrived at the Mall, called the passenger and he said "You arrived already ? I am still upstairs", seriously !!! Apparently he requested it while still shopping. He had no idea where he was, I told him I was at Macy's entrance. He couldn't find Macy, he walked downstairs and said he saw IKEA. I went to the side that faced IKEA but still couldn't find him. After on the phone line with him for 5 minutes, frustrating goose chase, I gave up. I canceled it with "Wrong Address", collect $4 cancellation fee and moved on. I'd better be compensation for that kind of passenger who had absolutely no respect for drivers. Next time if I see a location pin in the middle of the Mall (not at an entrance), I'll ignore it, wasting my time and gas.

I've had the PAX say I'm on the 4th floor come and get me up here. Nope!
I've been willing to go up the ramp to drop off a passenger, especially if it's someone going to work that just wants to get dropped off close to their store. But I do hate trying to figure out where someone is for a pickup. I haven't had many but they have been a struggle. I agree with cancelling if it goes beyond a reasonable effort to find the person.

I have yet to accept any MOA pings, are they profitable? I just never considered it because no surge. With the new hexagons, maybe, just maybe... i'll try it out....

I've only taken them if I'm in the area. I figure taking a ping is better than doing nothing. I've had varying luck with them. Usually they are tourists so some have gone to downtown hotels or I took one to the outdoor hockey game at the U last winter. But some just go to the airport or a Bloomington hotel. One ride I remember was a guy who took light rail to the mall and then Uber to his job at Southtown.

Just use the Uber pickup zones.
