In addition to the nationwide Uber/Lyft strike on Wednesday, can anyone tell me the plan for picket lines at Uber headquarters (1455 Market Street) and Lyft headquarters (185 Berry Street) on Wednesday. I believe that drivers are boycotting the services Wednesday morning, but what is the plan for a physical strike that can be covered by media?

I think it's directed at Uber only - I would show up in person with a noise maker. You remember that Marriot strike a few months ago - they made alot of noise with sticks and buckets. Show up with a protest sign.
Please keep an eye on Warsaw, Sputum and Dancer - if they have their way it'll end up being a riot. Hold hands and sing out loud "all we are saying, is give us a chance" - this IS San Francisco BTW...think flowers in your hair...strip naked, use body-paint if you happen to forget your sign. Be creative.

I am not sure people will be wasting their time at the Lyft HQ.

No one is protesting lol... uber drivers dont know one another.. dont compare it to the marriot strike.. these people sat together, planned together, and committed to one another.. they werent competing with one another..
uber drivers are like bunch of dogs chasing a rabbit (the rider)
Each one tries to get it first.. maybe 5 uber drivers who’s got enough pension will show up to skip the payday.. 99.99% will be anting like usual..

Bring a torch. Don't have one. Just do a makeshift one..get a broom handle. Wrap a pillow case soak in something flammable. We're gonna light it up.

On strike day, I know of people that are going to summon rides to certain locations where the ubers will be ambushed with eggs. And for the ubers that try to fight back, they will be met with toilet tissue stuck on top the broken eggs. My friend told me.

Someone told me the strike uber drivers will be driving around the city and slow down the traffic. I expect traffic jam on financial district May 8th. The one who try to drive would be making much money
