Someone has contracted with the bars to take their customers home, likely because there are few if any Ubers around at those hours because they don't want puke in their cars and/or people to drunk to use the app.

Likely pirates or a taxi service as they can pickup multiple fares in one trip.

They can have them. 😆

And peak week drinking night can almost be any day, but Thursday to Sunday are the most likely.

For instance in my former tourist town market the new arrivals come in on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and use Uber a great deal one of those nights as they want to get drunk the first chance they get.

But usually the Ubers all go offline at 10-11 when the restaurants close to avoid the bar crowd and get their 6 hours offline, leaving the taxis to run the town until morning.

I used to drive past the morning taxis where they park to survey the damage they suffered from the late night crowd as to determine if it was a hot night for them or not.

Door handles ripped off, windows smashed, fresh dents all over. 😆
