Just make sure you check the ingredients and volume. Lot of these are gimmicks that will only release a watered down fog that will only anger the attacker, and will mace yourself in the wind.

I recommend having two. One always easily reachable while seated in the car. And one always on you in a pocket or belt etc. (you may be out of the car and keys may still be in the car).
