Why are Earnings and Payout totals different?

Earnings is before Lyft commission, payouts is after.

There's actually three:

"Earnings" --- precommission, you'll only see this if you're on 20% and hit full PDB

"Express pay" --- earnings minus commission plus tips and cancels minus 50 cents fee

"Payout"(after next tuesday in dashboard) --- actual earnings with all bonuses applied etc

I agree. It does get confusing like yesterday my earnings was $20-$30 more than my payout and I had no idea why.

Yea it's a huge letdown. Why does rideshare take 20 percent anyways? They aren't doing the work except for making and updating the app. Should be more like 7-8 percent.

Rideshare companies are slowly burning their Bridge's with their drivers, A lot of new people are hip to the whole Ridesharing lie of making $30 plus dollars an hour so they sign up for the big bonus and quit. If uber and lyft keep increasing their cut and reducing drivers pay they will eventually crash and burn.

Try 25% actually... plus in DFW, you dont automatically get tolls reimbursed, need to screenshot and argue with cust service that yes, I did drive through a toll.
